The Library recently hosted a delegation of six librarians from the University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines on June 30. A tour of the library was followed by a morning tea where our visitors were able to chat informally with staff and ASK Advisors. The Library then presented an information session that included an overview of the Library’s information services and innovative recent changes to the Library’s service provision.

The UC Library visit was part of the benchmarking research project being undertaken by the group in Canberra and Sydney. The librarians were particularly interested in the ASK Advisor Shared Service run by the Library and Study Skills, as well as The Shed for academics and the role of the Library as a One Stop Shop during the first weeks of semester.
