The 2017 University’s Faculty of Arts and Design Graduate Exhibition titled Imagine, featured the applied work of over 160 students from various disciplines. Works were displayed from students studying architecture, interior architecture, graphic design and industrial design, as well as a range of works from students in media arts, heritage and museum conservation, web design and more. Students are rewarded after three years of hard work by showcasing their skills and designs to their family, friends and industry professionals.
In addition to the exhibition, second-year industrial design students were invited to redesign an area of the Spanish Consulate. The Ambassador of Spain to Australia, His Excellency Manuel Cacho Quesada visited campus last week to announce the winners of the design contest. Christopher Fotheringham, Sharon Lok and Madeleine Gunning were named the winners and took home a $2,000 cash prize.
