The University of Canberra has been a White Ribbon accredited workplace since 2013 and continues to support Australia’s only national, male-led campaign to end men’s violence against women. To honour and recognise White Ribbon Day on 25 November, staff and students from the University of Canberra came together last week for a morning tea and to pledge to help end violence against women. Guests at the event were invited to write a message on a flag in support of domestic violence victims and to place it on the white ribbon painted on the southern concourse.
