The longstanding partnership between the University of Canberra and Ningbo University (NBU) began over 10 years ago. Currently, the Faculty of Business, Government & Law delivers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) in partnership with NBU in China.
On Wednesday 23 May 2018, thirty-seven graduates celebrated the completion of their MBA at the graduation event, held at Bao Yu Shu Science Building at Ningbo University. Associate Professor Simon Hoy, Director of Postgraduate Programs, Faculty of Business, Government and Law, travelled to China for this event. Professor Fan Bonai, Dean of Business School, Ningbo University gave opening remarks and Associate Professor Simon Hoy delivered a congratulatory speech on behalf of BGL and UC, before presenting graduates with their degrees.
Associate Professor Simon Hoy congratulated graduates on their milestone achievement and acknowledged the sacrifices they had made in the course of their degree. He also thanked proud families, friends and Ningbo University colleagues for the ongoing support they had provided to these graduates during their study journey.
The event concluded with speeches given by Associate Professor Huang Huiqin, on behalf of the lecturers at Ningbo University, and Ms Yu Jianbei responded on behalf of the graduating students.
