Commencing in February 2016, the neXus Research Centre for Business, Government and Law emphasises the University’s situation in Canberra, the capital of Australia, to focus on world-class research by interrogating the neXus of business, government and law. For us, the idea of the neXus is particularly apt given that one traditional meaning for Canberra is that of a meeting place. We are excited about the neXus, as this is the first research centre for the Faculty.
Our research examines the changing nature of knowledges and is future focused. This is illustrated through our multi-disciplinary, issue-driven research programmes; one examines the changing nature of work and one examines the (intellectual) commons. Research is at the core of the faculty’s activities, as it provides the opportunity to critically evaluate knowledges and contribute to the creation of new knowledge. We aim to share this with our multi-level communities, stakeholders and with our students and other partners.
Please follow our Twitter feed and News and Events for further information.
The neXus comprises a seamless community of scholars and all of our students, including our Higher Degree by Research students, are integral to neXus activities.
